The drill’s fictitious scenario involved high school students attending a sporting event at a park when an explosion occurs in a nearby storage shed.

The annual ARISE & Ride for Ramps event will take place on June 4 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego. The event offers something for the whole family: a 5K walk/run, motorcycle ride, music and great food! The day will start at 10 a.m. with an exciting 5K run/walk around the famous Oswego Speedway.
Members of the former SUNY Oswego’s Beta Tau Epsilon recently visited Oswego Health Lakeside Heart Center to present a plaque recognizing the social fraternity’s commitment to the facility. Members of the social fraternity gather each June as part of the college’s yearly class reunions and as part of their own activities make donations to the Lakeside Heart Center.
Nicholas Costo of Oswego was inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, during SUNY Oneonta’s thirty-seventh annual induction ceremony on May 1.
The school’s annual Parents in PE day was recently held in both gymnasiums to showcase fitness units students participate in throughout the year, including: eye-hand skills, cooperative games, hunting and gathering games, balance and eye-foot skills, among several other activities.
