Plans are under way for one of the area’s most anticipated and largest golf tournaments, the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Annual Golf Tournament. To be held July 11, the United Way Annual Golf Tournament will once again be hosted by one of Central New York’s most prestigious private golf courses, the Oswego County Club.
The room was buzzing with folks sharing the human experience in a hip and newly renovated space built by local developers John Dickquist and Laura Brazak; nurtured by TDJ owner and artistic director Tammy Lynn Wilkinson. The eclectic room was wall to wall actors, directors, theatre connoisseurs and community members at large.
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations in collaboration with the Camp Hollis Senior Camping program will host a two-day camping event on June 13 and 14. Offered each June and September, people ages 50-plus can enjoy Camp Hollis and a variety of activities.

Lura M. Sharp Elementary School in the Pulaski Academy and Central School District recently held a spring concert, playing a wide variety of classic songs for the standing-room only crowd.
The Scriba Volunteer Fire Department will host a fire safety day on May 21. The fire station is located at 5618 State Route 104 Oswego. The hours will be from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
