Oswego County Opportunities will hold its annual bowling tournament fundraiser on April 18 at Lakeview Lanes. This year’s theme is the OCO ‘Rodeo Bowl.’ The western theme will permeate the entire event, from decorations, prizes and contests to the costumes created by the participating bowling teams.

The Oswego YMCA is excited to welcome the Kinlough Academy of Irish Dance to its growing list of family programs. The Kinlough Academy will offer Irish Dance classes every Wednesday beginning March 4. There will be three levels offered beginning with Tiny Tots at 6:15 p.m., followed by Advance Beginner and Intermediate at 7 p.m. and Novice/Prizewinner/Advanced class at 7:45 p.m.
The Zonta Club of Oswego will be hosting a celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8 from 3-5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 7111 Route 104 West. First observed in 1909, International Women’s Day is a global celebration of women’s achievements throughout history. It is also an occasion for looking ahead at the opportunities that await future generations of women.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County will host the 2015 Winter Dairy Management Workshop via webinar on March 2. The agenda runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with speakers focusing on improving milk components to increase profit. The event will be held at the CCE Oswego County office at 3288 Main St., Mexico.
