Throughout February, the Oswego Public Library Public Computing Center will provide free workshops aimed to strengthen computer skills for job seekers and small businesses.

All Oswego County government offices, including the solid waste transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, January 21 for Martin Luther King Day.

Sarah Piascik of Phoenix was named to the Becker College Dean’s List for fall 2012. Piascik is pursuing a degree in Veterinary Science.

SUNY Oswego’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program this season will staff tax-assistance sites in the cities of Oswego and Fulton and offer help by appointment in the villages of Constantia and Phoenix.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be attending the university full-time and attain at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester.
