Skunk Meadows has just dug out from the third snowfall of January 2013 and I can report on limited activities of the small creatures that live around us. We have not seen “Earl Gray Cat,” our “Prodigal,” since January 20th, and hope he has a real family who is keeping him in and safe from the snow.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a perfect 4.0 average for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

You don’t have to be a bowler to support OCO’s “Lucky 13” Bowl-A-Fun fundraiser. The event includes a raffle for three prizes that let you get away from it all.

Youth looking for something to do during the upcoming winter break are invited to join the fun at CYO.  The program has extended its hours for the week of Feb. 18 and added a number of special activities for youth of all ages.

The New York State Police will be hosting a child seat clinic on February  16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Central Square Wal-Mart, 3018 East Avenue (State Route 49), Central Square.

To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.

As an extension of its sponsorship with the National FFA Foundation, Tractor Supply Company has recently announced a new scholarship program to assist FFA members in their pursuit of a college degree.

UPDATE:   The HS musical scheduled for tonight will be 1 pm Sunday. The Secret Garden will also be presented Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on stage at the Robinson-Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts at OHS
