The sounds of Christmases past, present, and future will fill this air this season as Fulton Community Theatre proudly presents “Pop’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Carol” to benefit the mission Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Food Pantry.
On November 21 there will be no school for students in grades Pre-K through 12 in the Fulton City School District. All staff will spend the day at G. Ray Bodley High School focusing on Assessment and Technology.
Financial donations and volunteer help are needed for this year’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner to be held on November 22 from noon until 2 p.m. at First United Church of Fulton at 33 S. Third St. in Fulton.
The class will run from 6-9 p.m. at 191 W. First St. The watercolor printing technique is a fun way to print one-of-a-kind Christmas cards and/or decorations for the Christmas tree.
The Friends of Quirk’s Players will sponsor a spaghetti dinner November 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home. The evening promises to be a fun-filled event with entertainment, gift baskets, tasty treats and more.
When the students arrive for the spring semester — and a three-year-stay — from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul and a smaller program in the East Asian country, SUNY Oswego’s international student population will top 200 for the first time, up from the current 158.
One hundred percent of the proceeds for this event will be going directly to the Oswego Alliance Youth who are raising money to travel to St. Louis, Missouri, for LIFE in July 2013.
