The Fulton Rotary Clubs recently presented the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County with a Rotary District Simplified Grant to assist with the CAC’s mission of combating and raising the awareness of child abuse in Oswego County.

The Oswego City School Board of Education committee and regular meetings will be held beginning at 5 p.m. on December 4 at the Education Center.

Vincent Lobdell Sr., founder, president, and chief executive officer of HealthWay air purification systems, is committed to lifelong learning. A positive attitude and a desire to improve are a mandatory quality among his employees.

Performances will take place on the Frances Marion Brown Theatre stage in the Oswego Civic Arts Center. Production dates are December 7, 8 and 14, 15 at 8 p.m. A matinee will be performed on December 16 at 2 p.m.

Downtown Oswego will be treated to the sound of carolers as volunteers collect donations to assist the Oswego Salvation Army and Paws Across Oswego County in their work this Christmas season

The program has three centers in the Fulton area: Pinewoods on Route 57 North, All Saints Church and at Fairgrieve Elementary. The program enrolls three- and four-year-old children and is provided at no cost to families.

The shop is currently located on the west side of town in the former St. John’s School, but will soon be opening for business at 19 E. Cayuga St.

With a new facility, CNY Arts Center is inviting the public to celebrate the holidays during its first Holiday Open House, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at State Street Methodist Church, 357 State St.

Fulton Rotarian William Lynch, chair of the Rotary Scholarship Committee, recently presented two nontraditional students at the Fulton Branch of Cayuga Community College with a $500 scholarship check.
