For a safe, exciting Halloween activity, the Fulton Family YMCA is again offering and imaginative Halloween experience – an evening for little goblins and their families to enjoy in an environment that’s both caring and safe. The holiday fun takes place at 6 p.m. on Friday for kids Pre-K through sixth grade.
Lakeside Artisans welcomes Kathy Fenlon as its newest co-operative member. Kathy’s bright, colorful bags contain multiple pockets for glass cases, smart phones, change purses, keys, etc. The bags, along with business card holders, small bags and change purses are being displayed at Lakeside Artisans.

To celebrate the APW school district’s reconfiguration to a state-of-the-art elementary and junior/senior high school campus and thank the community for their vision, support and sacrifice throughout the renovation process, the Board of Education will be hosting a dedication ceremony on October 30.
The U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division Band from Fort Drum and the Fulton Community Band will perform a free concert in honor of Veterans Day, on Nov. 3, sponsored by the Fulton Music Association.
The Oswego City School District Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. on October 23 in the Education Center. The executive session to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation will be scheduled for the end of the regular meeting.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services will sponsor an informational meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6, at Liberty Resources, 1850 county Route 57, Fulton, for people who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents.
Recently, Oswego High School students donated 37 pints of blood to the Red Cross Bloodmobile program. Once again, the OHS chapter of the National Honor Society sponsored the event in conjunction with school nurse-coordinator Aimee DeVinny.
