APW Elementary Kicks Off Read 100K with Pep Rally for Reading
Principals Michael McAuliff (3-6) and Dee Penoyer (UPK-2) encouraged the students to read 100,000 minutes as a school. While it may seem like a daunting challenge, when broken down, it represents approximately 15-20 minutes per student per day.
Granby Elementary Holds Family Math Night

Oswego County BOCES’ Arts-In-Education program coordinated a West African storyteller’s visit to Fairley Elementary School in Hannibal on October 22. Robbi Kumalo, also known as Robbi K, presented two West African storytelling programs of “How the Turtle Got His Shell.”
Events Planned To Commemorate National Hospice Month
In recognition of National Hospice Month in November, five Oswego County restaurants are joining with the Friends of Oswego County Hospice to support the Hospice Program in Oswego County. Canale’s, The Blue Moon Grill, Arena’s Eis House, Ruby Tuesday and Fajita Grill in Oswego will all be donating a portion of one day’s sale to the Friends of Hospice.
