Thousands of Price Chopper Supermarket teammates, customers and trade partners throughout the regional chain’s six state footprint (NY, VT, CT,MA, NH, and PA) supported the company’s annual campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, raising $1,172,323 for local individuals living with neuromuscular diseases.

Breast Cancer Awareness month is under way and on the very first day of October the Oswego Middle School staff became actively involved in the effort. Visitors to OMS will see a bit of pink in many of the staff member’s hair in recognition of their involvement to increase awareness of the tragic results of breast cancer.
Now in its eighth year at SUNY Oswego, the project is part of an annual statewide community-service project by Student-Athlete Advisory Council chapters at all 11 SUNY Athletic Conference colleges.
