Aretha Lagoe was recognized by the Oswego City School District Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools at Tuesday’s meeting. Lagoe has served the district’s students and staff for two decades and is retiring from service.
Jessica Parker from Central Square has been admitted to the Master’s Program in International Affairs at Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service. Parker joins 82 other first year MPIA students at the School, which is ranked in the top 13 percent of public policy programs at public universities in the country.

Anyone who has ever been associated with the Oswego State baseball legacy, either on the field, in the stands or elsewhere, is invited to take part in a golf tournament, special dinner honoring the late David “Agarn” Crisafulli and an alumni game.
