The APW Educational Foundation will host its second annual “APWEF Golf Tournament” on July 1 with a 1 p.m. tee off at the Northshore Golf Course, 8062 Maple Flats Road, Cleveland.

Katelyn Byrne of Cleveland, NY, has been awarded an academic scholarship to attend SUNYIT, the State University of New York Institute of Technology, for the 2012 fall semester.

In recent weeks, Hannibal High School students have been working on their part of the county-wide art project that will be presented at this year’s Harborfest.

The school district has established a program to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments and outstanding achievements of athletic teams/squads, coaches, former athletes, and/or APW community supporters.

The Fulton Elks will hold an all-you-can-eat Father’s Day breakfast.

Children from Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s CYO and Relatives Raising Relatives programs help beautify Fulton by planting the fresh flowers that were displayed on Catholic Charities’ float that was in the Fulton Memorial Day Parade.

Two teams of Oz Roller Girls, the Blue Screams of Death and the Killa-Bytes, will square off on June 19 for a tech-themed roller derby bout titled Game Over, sponsored by the LabMan conference.

The Oswego County Humane Society recently received a $1,000 Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation, of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The foundation is a giving program, supported by donations from Elk members and lodges.
