Majoring in architectural design and building at SUNY Delhi, Caster was among the 27 students, faculty and staff who were recognized for their outstanding contributions to improving campus life.
On May 25, Fulton High School hosted the Track and Field Section 3 Division I Class A, Championships. Fulton will be sending 3 from the boys’ Track and Field team to states – team captains Aldasch (Pentathlon), Holden (Steeple Chase) and Casey Holden (High Jump).
A family fun art day will be held June 3 at Mexico Point Park from 2 to 5 p.m. The park is located off Route 104-B in the Town of Mexico. There will be hands-on art, face painting, stone skipping contest open to all age level, a pinata and more.
The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will provide free meals through the USDA Summer Food Service Program this summer at Camp Hollis, 40 Health Camp Road, Oswego Town. Meals will be provided to all registered campers without charge, Sunday evenings through Friday afternoons beginning June 28 and ending Aug. 17.
Nearly 1,000 third, fourth and fifth grade school students from central New York will participate in ceremonies commemorating the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States of America on June 14,1777.
More than 75 individuals supported Oswego Health’s cancer outreach and educational programs by taking part in the seventh annual Oswego Health Charity Walk/Run held May 19. The event also benefited the Fulton and Oswego YMCAs.
A couple of months ago the newly formed NJHS welcomed the eighth graders. On May 20 the seventh graders were inducted in ceremonies at the Oswego High School Robinson-Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Camp Hollis will be keeping it simple on June 11 and 12 at the annual Senior Camping program for people 50 years young and older. This year’s theme is “Simplify, Simplify.”
The Oswego County Health Department will hold a rabies clinic for dogs, cats and pet ferrets from 6 to 8 p.m. June 6, at the Bristol Hill Landfill, 3125 NYS Route 3, Volney.
The Oswego County Legislature has adopted summer hours for departments in the Legislative Office Building at 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego. Beginning July 2 and ending Aug. 31, offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
