Minetto Elementary School sixth graders, in Tracy Anderson’s science class, concluded their Plate Tectonics Science Unit with a volcano project. After researching the different types of volcanoes, the students created their own at home.
The Oswego High School Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts stage will be alive with the “Sound of Music” as the students present the annual musical on Friday and Saturday. Curtain time will be at 7:30 p.m.
February is national heart month and in support of the American Heart Association’s It Takes Heart To Be A Hero campaign students at the Oswego County BOCES (OCB) Fourth Street School in Fulton organized a fundraiser and pledged to participate in a jump rope and basketball fitness challenge.
Students and staff at Oswego County BOCES celebrated the Super Bowl with some football-related activities in the classroom and a “souper” collection.
Students at Trinity Catholic School presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with the results of its Hats for the Homeless drive, one of the many service events that the school’s students participated in as part of Catholic Schools Week.
