‘Twas the Day Before Christmas Vacation at Parish Elementary School

Parish Elementary School first grade student Nyah Pinzer joins music teacher Michele Catania in leading the entire school in singing Deck The Halls. PES students spent the day before Christmas vacation participating in various quiet reading activities and then came together as an entire school community to sing Christmas carols.Coined as a Drop Everything And Read or D.E.A.R. Day, students along with faculty were invited to wear their pajamas to school and bring a snuggle buddy or stuffed toy from home along with a book.

Oswego County Legislature Recognizes Barbara Brown

The Oswego County Legislature bid farewell to its outgoing officials at the end of their last meeting of the year. As one of his final acts of duty, outgoing Legislature Chairman Barry D. Leemann presented a plaque to long-time Legislator Barbara Brown and thanked her for her many years of hard work and dedication. For 20 years, Brown has served the people of District 8. She remains a steadfast champion of farmers and the agricultural industry in Oswego County. As one of his final acts of duty, outgoing Legislature Chairman Barry D.
