Couple’s Golden Anniversary Benefits Meals On Wheels

Director of Oswego County Opportunities’ Health and Senior Nutrition Services, Amy Roland (left), accepts a donation from Rodney and Shirley Revette of Central Square. In celebration of their golden 50th wedding anniversary the couple donated $200 in support of OCO’s Meals on Wheels program.When it cam time for Rodney and Shirley Revette to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, the couple decided that rather than exchange gifts with each other, they would support a local program that was dear to their hearts.

Toddler Making Bubbles

Phoenix, NY – Ethan Snyder, Toddler at Discovery Day Care is using his oral motor muscle to blow out of a straw to make bubbles.  He was amazed to see how many bubbles he made with his own air!  Discovery Day Care is a program of Oswego County Opportunities Education Services.  For more information, visit OCO’s website at www.oco.org.  A private, non-profit agency, OCO’s many programs touch the lives of more than 30,000 Oswego County residents each.   One of Oswego County’s largest employers, OCO employs more than 650 people and boasts a volunteer force of 1,200.  Now in it’s 45th year, OCO continues to build partnerships and is on a roll as it strives to improve the quality of life in Oswego County by helping people, supporting communities and changing lives.
