Several Oswego High School seniors completed their successful academic trip toward graduation in August. The Oswego City School District Board of Education celebrated the students’ accomplishments by presenting diplomas during the Sept. 27 regular meeting.
Oswego High School WBUC-TV and meteorology students had an opportunity to hear local meteorologist Dave Longley. Longley, a WBUC alum, is one of the veteran’s in Central New York weather analysis.

Lee White Marine Museum is pleased to announce the third session of their three-part mini lecture series on the topic of the “Lighthouses of Oswego,” featuring Ted Panayotoff, lighthouse historian and City of Oswego Lighthouse Committee chair who will discuss the various lights, the lighthouse keepers and related topics that spanned Oswego’s rich maritime history.
