Canale’s Restaurant Helps Keep History Alive

On Tuesday, August 23, Canale’s Restaurants will participate in this year’s “Be Historical. Keep Our History Alive” project. Anyone bringing a special coupon to Canale’s to dine in, or for take-out, delivery, or frozen dinners that day, will have 20% of their purchases donated to the Oswego County Historical Society as part of this campaign. Shown at left is project chairwoman Meg Schneider as she discusses the fundraiser details with Canale’s owner Nick Canale. Coupons may be found at the August 18th Farmer’s Market in Oswego, at the Richardson-Bates House Museum on Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., from a Historical Society Board member, or by printing one from the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/RBhousemuseum.As part of this year’s Oswego County Historical Society’s “Be Historical. Keep Our History Alive” project Canale’s Restaurants at 156 W. Utica St. in Oswego and 7421 Oswego Rd. in Liverpool will help support it throughout the day of Tuesday, August 23rd.
