United Way Golf Classic Tees Off July 15

Now in its 16th year, the United Way Golf Classic provides community members with an opportunity to enjoy a fun day of golf while supporting their local United Way. Last year’s event hosted a field of 52 teams and according to United Way Resource Development Director, Lois Luber, early entries indicate that this year’s Golf Classic may even be more popular.

Kids Military History Summer Programming At Fort Ontario

Historic games and activities will be featured at the summer kid’s history camp at Fort Ontario this summer.

This summer, Fort Ontario State Historic Site in Oswego, will host nine separate – (one week long) military history activity sessions for children ages 8-18. The sessions will be led by AmeriCorps staffer Ian Mumpton.  The programming is aimed at getting young people outside and active during the summer.
