Cooper Honored by Legislature
Owens to Host Town Hall at SUNY Oswego
Congressman Bill Owens announced today that he will hold a community forum on Tuesday, June 28th on the campus of SUNY Oswego. Owens will deliver brief opening remarks about job creation and economic development, and then answer direct questions from constituents in attendance.
Traffic Safety Education in Our Schools
This spring, many area schools learned about traffic safety from guest speaker, Billie Crandall Brady of the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board. Funding from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee make educational events and classes possible.
Summer Reading Challenges Available
Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) is challenging the children in the community to read for at least 15 minutes a day for 40 days throughout July and August, with an adult or on their own as part of the New York State Assembly Summer reading challenge.

Food Sense Program Available At Catholic Charities
Each month through the Food Sense Program families and individuals have the opportunity to purchase specially priced food packages consisting of fresh meats, fresh produce, and frozen foods. In addition, there are special featured items each month that may be purchased separately or in addition to the food package.
