Marine Museum To Commemorate D-Day

The event will be multifaceted, centering around an unveiling of the new indoor exhibit focusing on the history and significance of the National Historic Landmark Tug , LT-5, during World War II and afterwards. The vessel is proudly berthed on the west pier by the Museum, in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District.

As part of Oswego County Opportunities (OCO)’s recognition of May as National Mental Health Awareness Month, the agency’s Mental Health Residential Program is looking to erase the fears or misconceptions that may exist in relation to psychiatric illness.

Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County’s (LVOC) 13th Annual Golf Tournament will be held at the Oswego Country Club on August 16. Members of the Oswego County Chapter of ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) gathered recently with Oswego County Legislature Chairman Barry Leemann to encourage safe riding practices and observe Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.
