Marine Museum Opens Signups for Kids Pirate Day

June 20, 2011 Contributor

The H. Lee White Marine Museum is swabbing the decks for a hearty afternoon of pirate carousing. Brush off your eye patch, grab your parrot & sign up for a Kids’ Pirate Party on either Thursday, July 21 (10 – 12 pm) or Tuesday, July 26 (1 - 3 pm). Fun will abound in Oswego’s “Historic Maritime District.” Young lads & lasses can consort with fellow pirates; land lubbers can throw in with the lot & become pirates for a day. Pirate garb is strongly encouraged. Games, activities, music, grub, a scavenger hunt and treasure to plunder for home are on the list of pirating fun for the day. These are the only two dates for 2011. Pre-reservation and prepayment are required. The cost is only $10.00 per child (ask about member discounts). Contact the Museum at 315-342-0480 or info@hleewhitemarinemuseum.com for more information or to RSVP.
