Pulaski Retains Title for Oswego County’s Best-Tasting Drinking Water

The Village of Pulaski retained its title for the best-tasting drinking water in Oswego County in an informal contest sponsored by the Oswego County Health Department. Five municipal water districts took part in the 21st annual contest, held May 28 at the Fulton Memorial Day Salute.

New York Lottery Awards $25,000 Cash Prize To Fulton Instant Game Winner

The New York Lottery today announced Candi Maestri of Fulton won $25,000 on the Lottery’s Cash Multiplier instant game. Maestri’s winning ticket was purchased at the Lakeland Mini Mart at 915 State Fair Blvd in Syracuse.

Newman Center Supports Catholic Charities Food Pantry

People Against Poverty volunteers from the Newman Center in Oswego recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a donation in support of the agency’s food pantry. From left are: Director of Emergency Services for Catholic Charities Helen Hoefer, Laurie Brunschweiger and Meg Quigley.

Representatives from the Newman Center collected several boxes of food from SUNY Oswego students at the end of the semester.  The food was distributed to area food pantries.

Fulton Moose Lodge Gives a Day of Fun for Head Start Pre-K Families

On Saturday, May 21st more than 20 families of Oswego County Head Start Pre-K gathered at the Fulton Moose Lodge for an afternoon of games, crafts, food, and fun. Those who attended made bird feeders, painted rocks, tried hula-hooping, played on the playground, and enjoyed a great menu of food.
