Groups Clean Up Areas Along Oswego River

Two groups did litter cleanups on the Oswego River this past week. The cleanups were scheduled earlier in the season, but the earlier high water had prevented that from happening.

Alicia Malone and her teammates captured the championship of Catholic Charities’ Inaugural CYO Rock the Rim for Youth Basketball Tournament. Held recently at the Fulton War Memorial, the event was a fundraiser for the CYO Program.

Granby’s Got Talent

Sixth grade students at Granby Elementary School put their talents on display for the entire school during a recent talent show assembly. Organized by Granby Music Teacher Stephany Collins, the acts were far from just musically oriented and featured nearly 20 performances. Highlights included a comedy act, a magic show, dancing, math and science acts, along with several singing performances. Sixth grader Paige Blakeman and Collins rock out in the above photo while Granby Principal Heather Perry looks on.Sixth grade students at Granby Elementary School put their talents on display for the entire school during a recent talent show assembly.

Ritchie: Bill Eases Jail Crowding

Pathfinder Bank Supports Oswego Firefighters’ Drive For A Cure

The Oswego City Firefighters’ Association will hold its fourth annual golf tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The tournament is a four-man captain and crew and will be held at the Tamarack Golf Club on July 10 at 9 a.m.
