The SUNY Oswego School of Business will use a $10,000 grant from the charitable arm of Big Four accounting firm PwC to help boost recruitment and retention of minority students in the accounting program.
Judge James McClusky was endorsed by the Oswego County Republican Committee at their annual meeting on Thursday night to fill the Supreme Court vacancy in Jefferson County.
The 28 graduates of the A.A.S. in nursing program at Cayuga Community College received their official nursing pin in a May 20 ceremony in the Irene A. Bisgrove Community Theatre on the Auburn Campus.

In recognition of May being National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month, Oswego County Opportunities health educator Janelle Hutchinson has teamed with other OCO Youth and Family Services Programs and the Rural After School Program to address the issue of teen pregnancy in Oswego County.
Mary “Ginny” Stamm told the members or the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about her life. When she and her husband, Dr. Alfred Stamm, moved to Oswego they had three foster children with special needs.
Chiropractors throughout Oswego County raised more than $1,500 in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County during their Patient Appreciation Day fundraiser held May 20.
Both speakers—Justin Ford of Fulton and Christina Kosier of Auburn—are recipients of the 2011 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, the highest recognition given to students by the State University of New York.
Last year’s Regatta was a success, raising over $20,000 to support Oswego County Hospice patients and their families. For the fourth consecutive year, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group is the major sponsor of the event.
