SUNY Oswego Volunteers to Offer Free Tax Assistance

RSVP tax aides gathered recently for training to assist Oswego County residents with 2010 income tax counseling and preparation. They are, from left, John Lyons, Gary Roy, Bruce Manwaring, Nancy Perticone, Allan Mosier, Jean Kellar and John Smith.The college’s School of Business, through its student-staffed Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, will offer the service weekly at three sites in Oswego and Fulton, Jan. 29 through April 9.

OMS Art Students Recreate Art Classic In Unique Place

Oswego Middle School eighth graders helped create a unique ceiling painting recently. Among those that assisted are (front row) Tyler Courtney, Rana Al-Salameh, Mason McGann, Josh Bucher and Mariell Schickling. In the middle row are Alexis Sheridan, Rebecca Victory, Kaitlin Ballard and Braeden Livesey. In back are Jacob Lofthouse, Michael Favata, Collin Ballou, Austin Levine, Meghan Anderson, Lauren Wallace and Eddie Sheridan.

Oswego Middle School teacher Suzanne Fox wanted something more for the students who reside daily in her classroom. The result was nothing sort of spectacular.

 Man in the moon Candies and Taste the world purchased reserved tables for the Oswego Lions Club Comedy night.
