These programs are responsible for operating more than 48,000 classrooms in every state and practically every county in the country. Since 1999, more than 4,400 children have been students of Head Start Preschool in Oswego County.

Camp Hollis is looking for volunteers to help close up the campgrounds for the season on Saturday, Oct. 30. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. staff and volunteers will work on a variety of projects, including cleaning and closing the cabins, storing playground and sports equipment, putting gardens “to bed” for the winter and storing indoor games and supplies.
The morning was crisp and there were several large dark clouds in the sky. That did not diminish the excitement and anticipation felt by Carol Wilcox and her sister Mary about this long awaited day. On Saturday, October 2nd, the Lowe’s team was coming to Fulton to build a ramp for the Wilcox Family as their Heroes Project.
