Memorial Day Salute Picks Poster Contest Winners

The Memorial Day Salute Committee recently announced the winners  of the annual Poster Contest held to create a patriotic poster in  keeping with "America the Beautiful".  Taking first place as  the winner of this year's poster contest is Jessica DeLapp.   Pictured  from left is Tom Mirabito, MDS Treasurer;  Cheyenne Manford, third  place; Jessica DeLapp, first place, Rebecca Pierce, second place, Mary  Pierce,  Art Instructor and Carol Vescio, MDS Publicity.  The winners  are art students at Cayuga Community College.  Many thanks to all of the  students who participated in this contest.  All posters will be  displayed at the event held this year on May 28 and 29.The Memorial Day Salute Committee recently announced the winners of the annual Poster Contest held to create a patriotic poster in keeping with “America the Beautiful”.

History of Hannibal Book Released

Librarian Lenore Richards, accepts a copy of “The Pictorial  History of Hannibal, NY” presented to the Hannibal Free Library by the  Hannibal Historical Society.  The Hannibal Historical Society has released the book, “Pictorial History of Hannibal, NY” containing over 400 photos of life in Hannibal through the years. The book is available for sale at the Hannibal Free Library and the Hannibal Municipal Building for $20 per copy.
