Gary McIlvain of Career Employment Services, a division of Oswego Industries, Inc., recently visited high schools to let upperclassmen know about opportunities available through the NY State Education Department’s office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities
Oswego County Head Start Preschool will be holding an Open Enrollment Day on Thursday, January 28th from 10 am to 2 pm. Head Start is a preschool program for 3- and 4-year-old children with the primary goal of promoting school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children. The program includes nutritious meals and snacks, encourages parent involvement, and family support.
At the regular Parish Town Board meeting on Thursday, December 17 several people were recognized for their contributions and or years of service. Former Parish Town Supervisor’s William Scriber and Frank House joined Parish Town Supervisor Steve Stelmashuck in the presentation to Carl Dayger who served under all three.
