Visitors Invited to Explore Winona Forest by Ski and Dog Sled on Jan. 16
Mushers, skiers, and outdoor lovers of all ages are invited to explore the Winona Forest Recreation Area on Saturday, Jan. 16, at the third annual Winona Forest Recreation Association (WFRA) Winterfest. The event starts at 9 a.m. at the CCC Camp on Co. Rt. 90 in Lorraine. The recreation area features more than 70 miles of groomed trails in northern Oswego and southern Jefferson counties.

Children’s Board and Red Cross Club Collaborate for Christmas Giving
The Children’s Board of Oswego and the local Red Cross Chapter formed an alliance to provide Christmas gifts to local families in need. The Red Cross Club is a group of students who meet to raise money for the Red Cross, develop leadership skills, and to form friendships through caring and working with other Red Cross members.
