Oswego Health Lifeline Service Now Has Cordless Phones

Oswego Health’s Lifeline Services now offers cordless phones that have additional improvements making the emergency communication devices easier to use.

Lifeline allows seniors and others with medical conditions to live more independently, knowing that medical help is just a phone call away. Subscribers wear a small, simple to use device that if need be can be used to summon medical help.

Catholic Charities of Oswego County Announces Fresh Food Distribution

On Wednesday, December 9th the Emergency Services Program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County in cooperation with the Food Bank of Central New York will sponsor a fresh food distribution. Fresh foods and produce will be available, free of charge to those in need, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm or until food is gone. Please bring your own bags or boxes. Distribution will be at the Elks Lodge, 57 Pierce Drive in Fulton.

Families Are Invited to Escape Cabin Fever at a ‘Treasure Island Luau’ Feb. 28

Is it just too cold for you in the winter? Are you sick of the snowy weather by late February? The Oswego City?County Youth Bureau and Oswego Harborfest invite the community to a Treasure Island Luau from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Elk’s Lodge in Oswego. All children are welcome to attend. Activities will be geared for children up to age 10.

The new customer and teller area at the Empower branch on Fulton's west side.Empower Federal Credit Union’s Fulton West branch has a brand new look and is celebrating with an open house. The public is invited to stop by Empower’s branch at 722 West Broadway, Fulton, the week of December 14, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Friday. Visitors will enjoy refreshments and giveaways throughout the week, while taking in the new interior.
