The UNIQUE 2009 Unveiling Celebration on October 14, 2009 marked the first time Alice Faye Olcott had shown her art in over four years. She was thrilled and surprised when she saw her painting Ã¢â‚¬Å“Blue MoonÃ¢â‚¬Â on the cover of UNIQUE 2009. Despite severe pain and loss of strength, she danced with her husband in celebration Ã¢â‚¬â€œ the first time she had danced in years.

Quilt Donated To Hospice

Oswego County Rallies Forces to Battle Water Chestnuts on the Oswego River

Oswego County officials have joined with the state Canal Corporation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for assistance in battling the water chestnut plant, an invasive species which is rapidly spreading in the Oswego River.

The Village at SUNY Oswego Bringing New Look, Features to Campus Housing

The Village, a new independent and environmentally friendly townhouse-style living option on the SUNY Oswego campus, is rounding into shape on the south side of Glimmerglass Lagoon.

It represents an independent, green and modern campus living option, adding to the college’s myriad of offerings, said Rick Kolenda, interim director of residence life and housing. Five cross-campus task forces that include students have been involved in developing the Village.
