Continental Arms Collectors Association’s Revolutionary War Unit encamped at Behling’s Orchard on September 20. The group, interpreting a company from the 1st New York Regiment, Continental Army in 1782, set up an authentic 18th century military camp site.

October is Head Start Awareness Month
Head Start was created in 1965 by President Lyndon Johnson as an eight week summer program for young children of low-income families. Over the years it has undergone many changes. It is now a year-long preschool program that provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to children and their families.
