Liberty Resources Hosts Orientation Meeting Nov. 3
The informational meeting is a pre-requisite to the 10-session certification training program for adoptive or foster parents. Orientation meetings are held every month in Fulton or Mexico. People who are considering becoming foster or adoptive parents must attend an orientation meeting before enrolling in the certification training program.

The Oswego AmeriCorps program will host three events Saturday, Oct. 24, for Make a Difference Day. Make a Difference Day is an annual day of service that brings communities together. The program is organized each year by USA Weekend and the Hands On Network.

“Many New Yorkers can not afford hearing aids even though hearing loss can be treated with hearing aidsâ€Â, said Barclay. “With the average cost of hearing aids as high as $1,400 each, this bill lowers that expense substantially, and makes hearing aids more accessible.â€Â
