New Members For Historical Society Board Of Trustees
At a recent meeting, the Oswego County Historical Society (OCHS) welcomed five new Board of Trustees members. These members will help to keep the Richardson-Bates House Museum available for visitors to learn more about the history of their community. Seated, from left, are Barbara Hanley and Mary Roman. Standing, from left, are George DeMass, Connie Clancy, and Alan Woodworth. For more information about the OCHS or the museum call 343-1342.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney. Mahoney is a life long resident of Central New York. Born into a large family, she grew up in Syracuse and graduated from Corcoran High School, Syracuse University School of Management and Syracuse University College of Law.
Fairgrieve Elementary School Principal Jean Ciesla was recognized as a Safety Champion of Oswego County by the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board at a celebratory breakfast recently.
At the big event, Roy joined hundreds of other race fans, looking at the cars on display and the racing memorabilia. The day was made perfect by receiving an autograph from Andretti and a photo of Mario, Roy, and Jim together.
