For some time now, our County E-911 Director, Mike Allen, and the Legislature’s Public Safety and Emergency Services Committee have been laying the groundwork for replacing the county’s outdated emergency communications system. There are a number of problems with the present equipment, and a new communications system has been needed for many years.

Paul Taylor to Perform at CAC Fundraiser
Veteran Central New York musician, Paul Taylor, will provide the musical entertainment following the 6th annual Child Advocacy Center’s ‘Blue Ribbon Ride’ Against Child Abuse. Scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd, the event is part of the CAC’s Blue Ribbon Campaign that focuses on child abuse awareness and prevention.
