Bobby Fontana, started out in March directing Clarence Day Jr.’s classic comedy, “Life with Father.” Knate Roy, originally cast as the father, had to bow out. Fontana made an attempt to replace him, however, with opening night looming, it became necessary for him to play the role himself.

The SUNY Oswego music and theatre departments will present the hits of a legendary Broadway songwriting team in “The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein” at 8 p.m. May 4 and 5, and 2 p.m. May 6, in Tyler Hall’s Waterman Theatre.
