Sara is an award-winning fiddler, singer, and tunesmith who has been performing various roots, bluegrass, Celtic, and Appalachian music since she was 4 years old. She joined The Adirondack Fiddlers at age seven, and at age twelve released her first cassette of traditional fiddle tunes. She has performed with various classical ensembles throughout New York State.

Do Good Swing Band To Perform At Oswego American Legion Nov. 1
The Do Good Swing Band, a 17-piece Big Band exactly like those made popular in the 1930s and 40s, will play a dance at the Oswego American Legion, W 4th and Bridge streets, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., Nov. 1, it was announced by Donald R. Goodness, director and lead trumpet.
Dorian Wind Quintet To Perform Polished Brass
Known for its polish and passion, the quintet has been called “one of chamber music’s most sparkling and eloquent ensembles” by Time magazine. Its repertoire spans baroque to contemporary and includes its commissioned piece “George Perle’s Quintet IV,” which earned a Pulitzer Prize in 1986.

Oswego Opera Embarks On 30th Season
Oswego Opera commemorates its 30th season with a festive weekend of opera, fine food and celebration. Opening on Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. at Waterman Theatre, will be George Bizet’s ever popular Carmen. A young professional cast will dazzle audiences, singing a powerful, new English translation.
