Oswego Health held an open house for its new Center for Weight Loss and Surgery on Nov. 8 with members of the medical staff and community attending. At the open house, Oswego Health President and CEO Michael Harlovic officially welcomed the new bariatric physicians, Jeffrey DeSimone, MD, and Kenneth Cooper, DO, along with their staff to the health system.

Carlos Dator Jr., medical director of the Center for Wound Healing at Oswego Health will present an Ask The Doctor Program at 6 p.m. on November 30 at the Center, located on the third floor of Oswego Hospital. During his presentation, Dr. Dator will discuss the treatment options available at the center for hard-to-heal wounds and the use of hyperbaric therapy.

Oswego Health’s Fulton and Central Square medical centers will offer convenient hours on Thanksgiving Day, November 23. Thanksgiving Day ~ Both Urgent Care Centers will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, all Oswego Health outpatient services, which include lab, medical imaging and physical therapy, will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
