Oswego Health Audiologist Karah Gottschalk, Au.D./CCC-A, who provides hearing and balance testing, will introduce her new amplification services during an Ask The Doctor program to be held at 6 p.m. November 19 in the Riverside Room at GS Steamers in Oswego.

Oswego Heath’s Primecare Medical Practice in Central Square is fortunate to have on staff Certified Lipidologist Timothy Tramontana, MD. According to the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, there are less than 700 lipidologists in the United States.

Oswego Health Audiologist Karah Gottschalk is now providing comprehensive amplification services to those of all ages, which includes hearing aids and cochlear implants. Audiologists specialize in the diagnostic testing and rehabilitation of hearing loss from newborns to the elderly.

State Senator Patty Ritchie and Oswego Health hosted the Power of Pink, a night of inspiration and education, at the Fulton Medical Center on Oct. 22.

More than 50 women attended the event, with 19 taking advantage of the opportunity to undergo a free mammogram and clinical breast exam.

Oswego Hospital is introducing a new service, lithotripsy, which treats those with painful kidney stones. Lithotripsy services are now being offered at Oswego Hospital’s Surgery Center.
