Oswego Health Participants in Free Community Breastfeeding Shower

Expectant mothers can learn the benefits of breastfeeding at a community breastfeeding shower to be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 18 at Oswego Hospital’s JPC conference room. Women who are breastfeeding for the first time or those who plan to breastfeed are encouraged to attend this free event coordinated by the Oswego County Breastfeeding Coalition.

Oswego Health honored its volunteers and Auxilans during a special luncheon held during National Healthcare Volunteer Week. Standing Orlando Testi, 690 hours; Harry Van Buren, 500 hours; Maurice ‘Mo’ Laws, 1,700 hours; Ginger Leotta, five years at the Fulton Medical Center; and Dawn Smith, Volunteer/Clinical Support Coordinator. Missing is Phyllis Price, five years at Oswego Hospital.

Oswego Health Recognizes its Volunteers and Auxiliary

Oswego Health recognized its volunteers and Auxiliary members during a special luncheon held during National Healthcare Volunteer Week at Springside at Seneca Hill. Oswego Health President and CEO Michael Harlovic told the group its donated time and talents to the health system were invaluable and that they exemplified the week’s theme, Growing: Compassion, Commitment and Care.
