If there’s one lesson Fulton City School District sixth graders learned during a recent school lesson, it was to never forget the accomplishments of Fultonians who helped shape the course of history.
This fun-filled day of interactive learning kicked off with a Songs and the Wild presentation, highlighting animals and ecosystems around the globe through music. Classes then embarked on a guided tour of their chosen Earth Day activities.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) began its 149th Commencement celebrations with the graduate students’ ceremony on May 11, awarding nearly 800 masters and doctoral degrees. Justin Okay of Pulaski, N.Y., was awarded a master of engineering degree in power systems engineering.
