More than 30 Ithaca College students were inducted into the Tau Sigma National Honor Society, an academic honor society designed specifically to “recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students.”

“We are both enthused and delighted to have Kim and her operations experience on the ESA team,” Martha Murray, agency president, said. “She works at our Fulton headquarters and reports directly to Regina Lunkenheimer, our chief operating officer.”

Ashley Cummins from Fulton has been awarded a President’s Award for Leadership from the University at Albany.

Missy Calverase has been promoted to senior vice president/treasurer at Eastern Shore Associates Insurance. She was formerly vice president/treasurer.

Open auditions will be held by the Oswego Players for its upcoming production of the musical “Grease” by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Tom Briggs will be stage director and Robert Dumas will be musical director.

Any residents of Oswego that would like to make their food dollars go farther may order June Food $en$e packages until noon on June 9. All Oswego area residents may use the program.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Just in time for Memorial Day celebrations later this month and the Flag Day holiday in June, some Oswego County schools are receiving some brand new American Flags due to the efforts of a local veteran and a member of the County Legislature. Commander John Young of the American Legion Post 587 and Legislator Dan Farfaglia teamed up this year to assist school districts that were in need of new American Flags.

Over the past three years, CiTi has seen incredible expansion to accommodate the needs of Oswego County students and more growth is on the way.
