CiTi students learn about behavioral adaptions

Students in Robyn Yorker’s Stepping Stones Day Program class recently participated in a project designed to teach both physical and behavioral adaptions. The students were learning about brown bats, flying mammals popular throughout Central New York. Al LaFrance, a specialist in bat colony removal, was a special guest host for the students and offered insight into the world of bats.

Oswego Hospital Employees Create Comfort Bags for Chemotherapy Patients

To offer patients comfort during their chemotherapy treatments, several Oswego Hospital departments, with help from the company, Thirty-One, created 44 attractive bags that are brimming with useful and soothing supplies. There are gloves and socks to keep hands and feet warm, word search puzzles to keep the mind occupied and candy for a little treat.
