Representatives of Kinney Drug Store on Main Street in Mexico, presented Oswego County Opportunities Nutrition Services with a donation of gifts for seniors participating in OCO’s Home Delivered Meals program and those that visit OCO’s the Mexico Senior Dining and Activity Center on Church Street.

Seventh grade students at Fulton Junior High School have been reading the novel “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park, a book that tells the story in alternating sections of real life experiences of Salva Dut in 1985 and a reality-based fictional character Nya in 2008.
The Women’s Fellowship of Minetto United Methodist Church will be serving a romantic candlelight dinner on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Serving will be at 6 p.m. at the church. The menu will be spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, Italian bread, ice cream sundae, and beverages.
