To celebrate this comfy combination the students at APW Elementary School were invited to wear pajamas to school on the day before Christmas vacation and bring with them their favorite stuffed animal and book.
The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District School Nutrition Team has teamed up with MyLunchMoney to provide a unique and simplified way for parents to fund and track their child’s/children’s school breakfast and lunch purchases.
Two Birdlebough graduates returned to the Phoenix Central School District as educators promoting healthy relationships and discussing gender stereotypes. The 2002 graduates, Megan Bittel, an educator with Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families program, and Colleen Saxby, community development manager with the Girl Scouts, led discussions with middle school students in Joe Adams’ health classes.
Applications are now being accepted for 2014 scholarships from the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District Dollars for Scholars Chapter. Online applications will be accepted through February 15.
At Usherwood, Elia will be responsible for guiding and managing the overall services, policies, and procedures of the Human Resources Department.

A fund-raiser to benefit Brandy Ermini’s quest for the Miss Teen USA crown will be held at Bridie Manor on Sunday. Sound Junction Disc Jockey Service will be rocking the River View Room. Delicious penne pasta, vegetable platters, pizza, chips and dips will be served. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-16 and those 5 and younger free.
The meeting, which begins at 5 p.m., involves committee meetings as the curriculum, finance and personnel agendas will be prepared for the January 22 meeting. There will be a brief regular board of education meeting to address personnel and financial resolutions which need immediate attention.
