Heidelberg University junior Meghan Yost is a founding member of the university’s newest sorority, Zeta Theta Psi. During a signing ceremony earlier this month, Zeta Theta Psi was welcomed as a Greek society and an official student organization.
Preparations are under way for the annual holiday bazaar at the Bowen’s Corners United Methodist Church to be held Dec. 6 and 7. The event will feature crafts, a bake sale and candy sale, and a luncheon, which will be served throughout the day. Bazaar hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The Oswego City School District Board of Education recognized the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers during the recent meeting. The board presented a “Certificate of Recognition” for the championship effort in the USBands Freedom Cup where Oswego swept top honors and caption (categories) awards.
Dr. Stuart Trust, Pediatric Associates of Fulton, was recently named Upstate Medical University’s Pediatrician of the Year. Trust is the only physician who has received this award five times since it was established in 1973.
