Harry Boltz a resident of Fulton was honored at Champlain College’s annual awards dinner for the Division of Communication and Creative Media. Boltz, a senior majoring in Game Art and Animation, received the Distinguished Community Member Game Art and Animation Award.
At a recent Fulton Noon Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Mary Costigan, introduced Greg Osetek, the community relations director for St. Luke’s Family of Caring. Greg gave an overview of the different types of elder care services offered in the greater Oswego County area.
Jordan Ferlito and Maria Warner recently had their artwork appear in the Youth Art Month exhibit at the SUNY Oswego Metro Center. The Charles E. Riley student work was on display throughout the month of March.
A new desktop 3D printer in SUNY Oswego’s Penfield Library recently built a model of a snake’s skull from a CT scan, marking the first student-created object for the new machine, available for campus and community printing projects with at least a week’s notice.
The Fulton City School District in cooperation with the river’s end bookstore in Oswego participated on April 23 in an international literacy and reading initiative known as World Book Night.
