NRG Oswego Power has joined with the many individuals and businesses supporting the Oswego Salvation Army “I Believe” Capital Building Campaign.

“A Titanic Affair,” will be held at the American Foundry on April 14. The venue will allow for ballroom dancing and interactive costumed actors, which include SUNY Oswego students as well as community performers who will immerse the audience in the history of the period.

The Oswego Railroad Museum has plenty of activities planned for the upsoming season. The museum is dedicated to the historic preservation of railroad history in the Oswego County area.

Names such as “Color Crunchers,” “Kiddy’s Crayons,” “Kooky Crayons,” “Color the World” and “Crazy Colors Inc.” filled the board in Carol Carroll’s sixth grade classroom at Fitzhugh Park Elementary School.

On Monday, Lake Ontario No. 165 Royal Arch Masons presented a $500 check to Masonic Medical Research Laboratory and $500 To Royal Arch Scholarship Fund.

Hannibal Dollars for Scholars officially launched a new website on March 28 through a new software tool provided by Scholarship America, Dollars for Scholars’ parent organization.

The SUNY Oswego Gospel Choir Dinner will be held April 15 at 3 p.m. It will take place in the Hewitt Union Ballroom. There will be great food and beautiful music.

Drake Becksted was recognized at the recent Oswego City School District Board of Education meeting for his tremendous success in the swimming pool.

Anyone with a disability who is at least 8 years old and lives in Central New York is encouraged to submit an original art or literary piece to be considered for publication in UNIQUE 2012. The deadline for submissions is April 27.
