ARC is once again a proud supporter and sponsor of the upcoming “Family Fun Walk for Autism”, being held on April 28 at Leighton Elementary School and the Wilber Track and Field, in Oswego.

During the month of April, communities and victim service providers across the United States will be hosting events and campaigns in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

On April 23 at 7 p.m., the Hannibal Historical Society will host Eleanor Stearns from Geneva , who will portray Amelia Earhart, one of the ladies she represents in her “Women of Vision” series.

A free Credit Repair and Money Management Seminar is being held for one evening only on May 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It takes place in the Community Room at Oswego Public Library.

The Public Computing Center offers a Digital Media Club for youngsters. Recently, the instructors thought “Why should the kids have all the fun?  Let’s have a Digital Media Club for adults.”

Debbie Meyer, president of the Board of Directors for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County and Karrie Damm, executive director of CAC, present retiring board member Pam Branshaw with an award in recognition of her 14 years of servic.

SUNY Oswego graduate students Randy Belcher and Dan Cutler will demonstrate their emotion-measuring research using Kinect — part of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming system — at the college’s Quest symposium April 18.

Steve Canale and his staff of the Press Box, will be providing the next Guest Chef Dinner for the Oswego Salvation Army on April 24 serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for dining in or taking out, at the Citadel, 73 W. Second St.

The Oswego County Health Department will hold a rabies clinic for dogs, cats and pet ferrets from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 11 at the Oswego County Highway Garage on State Route 104 East, Scriba.
